EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 
 
Facilities Services Manager (full-time)
 
The Barberton Public Library is seeking a creative and innovative individual who will maintain library property in clean and good repair and advise management on future needs. This individual will train, supervise and schedule a Facility Services Assistant, as well as work with service providers and vendors, implement safety plans and schedule and/or perform preventative maintenance. 
 
Normal working hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Facility Services Manager is required to be on call at all times and may be required to work abnormal hours due to emergencies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
One-year trade or technical training
Valid Ohio driver’s license
Minimum 2 – 4 years of related work experience
Working knowledge of building mechanical systems and maintenance, including HVAC, security, plumbing and landscaping.
 
Salary range
 
$14 - $19 per hour / 37.5 hours per week.  Staring compensation depends on qualifications.
