Moved by Perry, seconded by McMullen, to move to executive session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of an employee or official at 6:30 p.m. Roll call: Doll, aye; Leonard, aye; McMullen, aye; Perry, aye; Wise, aye.
Rogers left the meeting at 6:45 p.m.
Phillips entered the meeting at 7:02 p.m. and left the meeting at 7:18 p.m.
The meeting returned to regular session at 7:20 p.m.
Resolution 22-2026 Moved by McMullen, seconded by Perry, to request that the Barberton Board of Education appoint Jolese Rogers to the Barberton Public Library Board of Trustees, fulfilling a full term ending on June 30, 2030. Ayes: Doll, Leonard, McMullen, Perry, and Wise. Nays: None. Resolution adopted.
Resolution 23-2026 Moved by Wise, seconded by Leonard, to request that the Barberton Board of Education appoint James Phillips to the Barberton Public Library Board of Trustees, fulfilling the unexpired term ending on June 30, 2028. Ayes: Doll, Leonard, McMullen, Perry, and Wise. Nays: None. Resolution adopted.
