It's monsters galore! Get into the Halloween spirit with all things MONSTER. Visit the KIDS page all throughout October for plenty of monster art projects, snacks, book recommendations, and trivia. Stop by the library to complete a Monster or Halloween scavenger hunt and grab a Monster Mash Take & Make craft bags.

The Romance Book Club will be virtual starting in October. Our November pick is The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary.

Learn how to make delicious food with a waffle iron and a shirt iron. This program will stream on Facebook Live. This program is intended for tweens and teens. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged.

     Join in a fun activity: A Book Cover Scavenger Hunt! Pick up a contest form at the Library's Reference Desk or from participating merchants. Follow the clues to the Barberton businesses displaying book covers in their windows and complete your form. Turn in forms to the Reference Desk to qualify for a prize drawing. This program is intended for adults.

Anime is a good source to broaden your knowledge of Japanese history. Many historical anime series cover the events during the Medieval and Edo period of Japan that encompass feudal hierarchy, samurai legends, and many political and socio-economical aspects.
