Music & Movement

Ages 2-5 years old

Join Ms. Abby on Zoom for this energizing program that helps get kids up and moving while also helping them develop motor and listening skills. Beginning October 26, Music & Movement Activity Bags will be available at the library. The bags feature fun items like scarves, shaky eggs, and ribbon wands that children can use during the program. Parents can also create their own manipulatives to use. Please contact the Children's Department for Zoom Login information.

 

Adventure Storytimes

Every Weekend through December 19

Virtual Minecraft Meetups

November 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Ages 8-13 years old

Ready to play Minecraft with other people? A virtual Minecraft meetup, using an audio only Zoom meeting, will be held monthly this fall! This meeting will use the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft; This is the version Windows 10, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS all use. Email Ms. Abby, abby.lowe@barbertonlibrary.org with your Xbox Console Companion Name to be able to play and for log-in information. Space is limited. This program is intended for children ages 8-13 years old.



Tween Fall Frolic 2020

Tweens can visit our website to complete activities on a choice board to be entered into a Fall Frolic prize drawing at the end of the year. Submissions will be accepted both digitally and in person through the week of December 7. Monthly activities will include:

Middle School Book Club

View booktalks, activities, and additional book recommendations on our website, or pick up a Book Club bag at the library the first two weeks of each month.

 

Tween Crafternoons

Tween crafts and DIYs geared towards grades 4-8 will be available as Take & Make bags the second two weeks of each month.
