Get Crafty! Love a Mug - Crafting for Valentines Day (mug graphic)Bring a white coffee mug to the library and get creative! Use your Valentine's Day inspiration to design a mug with a favorite quote or cute graphic. The library will provide the special Sharpies you need to complete your design. White coffee mugs can be purchased at nearby superstores, thrift stores, dollar stores, or online. Bring at least one mug, but please no more than two.

Join us at the library to improve your flexibility by participating in a free chair yoga class. This gentle program is designed for seniors and individuals struggling with mobility. The class will be led by Colleen Hohl, a 200 hour certified yoga instructor from the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina.

The Ohio and Erie Canal

It has been 196 years since the Ohio Legislature first authorized the establishment of canals by the state. Though today, on a quiet bicycle ride up or down the Towpath Trail, the remnants of the Ohio and Erie Canal might seem fairly small and inconsequential – this is not the case. The State of Ohio, and particularly this region of Ohio, were greatly impacted by the development of the Ohio and Erie Canal.
