A reader since 2007, William Richardson will give a brief overview of the history of Tarot, the basic breakdown of the deck, how a reading works and resources for those interested in further study!  He will do readings as time permits.

Visit the library to watch The Public, directed by Emilio Estevez. A discussion about the role of public libraries will follow the film. Refreshments will be available.

Enjoy a visit from the Medina Raptor Center. Using live birds, an educator will talk about the natural history of birds of prey and the unique and vital roles they play in our ecosystems. Join us in the Children's Department before and after the program for owl, hawk, and eagle crafts. This program is open to all ages.

Enjoy an afternoon full of music with the Akron Pops! The Pops is a group of 40 to 50  volunteer musicians who perform in the greater Akron area. The group, was founded in 1926 by area physicians and was originally called the Akron Doctor’s Orchestra. The performance will be at the Active Adult Center located inside the Lake Anna YMCA. Doors will open at 2:30 pm for the concert, and seating is first-come, first-served.
