Also known as picture recipes, visual recipes are a great way for people who have a difficult time reading or are just more visual learners, to find recipes and learn how to cook.  Libraries have always been and still are great resources for cookbooks containing many step-by-step photos, and now the Library can be the gateway to finding many more wonderful recipes.&nb

Tabletop RPG (as opposed to online or computer based RPG) have been around for over forty years in their current commercial forms like Dungeons and Dragons. Notable players like Vin Diesel, Will Wheaton, and Stephen Colbert, have cited these games as a major creative and intellectual influence in their lives. In the past there has been some negative publicity, but the industry has grown.

Who are we?
Parents of Special Needs Adults & Youth is a support and resource group for parents, caregivers and family members of people who have special needs in our community. Sometimes living with and caring for them can be overwhelming and feel isolating. A group provides the fellowship and community that makes a difference to the entire family. Please join us!

Community members are encouraged to donate clean and gently used prom dresses.  Please drop your donated gowns or accessories off at the library any time during regular business hours.  On the day of the exchange, high school students can browse the donations and take home one garment.  Those who donate a garment will receive a ticket to enter the exchange a half-hour early.

This group will meet six times throughout the year to enjoy and exchange favorite recipes.  Bring a small batch of your recipe for the group to sample.

This program, offered through Catholic Charities, offers teens a perspective on character building and life skills. It is open to teens ages 13-17.

Students in grades 7-12 can participate in activities related to Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock.

Psychologists like Carl Jung have recommended coloring as a relaxation technique that can have therapeutic benefits.   Mandalas have long been a familiar and acceptable way for adults to color, but recently there have been an abundance of beautifully rendered coloring books that have become available for adults.
