Tabletop RPG (as opposed to online or computer based RPG) have been around for over forty years in their current commercial forms like Dungeons and Dragons. Notable players like Vin Diesel, Will Wheaton, and Stephen Colbert, have cited these games as a major creative and intellectual influence in their lives. In the past there has been some negative publicity, but the industry has grown.

Sometimes living with and caring for them can be overwhelming and feel isolating. A group provides the fellowship and community that makes a difference to the entire family. Please join us!

Prom Dress Giveaway

Community members are encouraged to donate clean and gently used prom dresses.  Please drop your donated gowns or accessories off at the library any time during regular business hours.  On the day of the exchange, high school students can browse the donations and take home one garment.  Those who donate a garment will receive a ticket to enter the exchange a half-hour early.

Psychologists like Carl Jung have recommended coloring as a relaxation technique that can have therapeutic benefits.   Mandalas have long been a familiar and acceptable way for adults to color, but recently there have been an abundance of beautifully rendered coloring books that have become available for adults.
