You've waited all these years to finally be an adult — no one to tell you to do your homework, clean your room, what time to be home or to eat your peas. Now what? Adulting 101 is your go-to program to learn the basics of being a responsible grown-up. 

Learn what makes a great resume and how to get organized.  Reference Services Manager, Susanne Nirschl Cogar, will provide with tips to conduct a winning job search.  She will also demonstrate how to maximize your skills online with Lynda and Linkedin, which are available at no cost with a current Barberton Library card.

Librarian Sarah G. will demonstrate how to prepare several microwave recipes cooked in a mug.

What is a charcuterie board? Traditionally a selection of cured meats, charcuterie boards have recently evolved to include cheese, crackers, and other delicious foods. Librarian Sarah will show you how to put together a charcuterie board.

Stop by the library beginning on Friday, January 8 to pick up a BINGO card. Children, Teen, and Adult versions are all available! 

Gain an understanding of the "Seven R's" for a Greener Life: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to include Refuse, Release, Rabble-Rouse and Refresh. Learn about the library's Green Team initiative and get tips for Green Living at home from Children's Librarian Lisa G.

Children in grades 4-8 can join in online anytime for a variety of entertainment, including games, art projects, and other creative activities.

Tween Fall Frolic 2020

Tweens can click the color squares on the Fall Frolic gameboard to complete activities for entertainment and fun, through the end of December.

Teens who come to Teen Advisory Board can pick up a holiday treat at the library reference desk starting December 15.
