Kids Code

Kids Code

Join us and explore the world of computer coding.  Kids Code will meet on Mondays, twice a month, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.  Kids will have the opportunity to explore game building and get creative with programs such as Scratch, Python, Java Script, and HTML.   Each month we will focus on different coding languages and projects.   This program is for boys & girls in grades 4-8.

January 7 & 21
Create your own Google Logo using Scratch ... "Be a designer and programmer – bring the Google logo to life using code."  Kids, with the help of their parents, can create their own account in Scratch before hand, or they can use the library's account.  We will provide Chrome books for the kids to work on, plus instruction, help and troubleshooting.  Check out the examples below for an idea of what we will be working on during our January sessions, and join us for a few days of coding creativity!
