The Public Relations Associate works with staff and administration to craft the Library's image and message to the community.  Maggie Rose is a graduate of Barberton High School, The University of Akron, and Kent State School of Library and Information Science where she earned a Masters Degree of Library and Information Science.  Having joined the staff in previous years and different positions Maggie rejoined team BPL in 2021. Maggie's duties are varied and include promoting library programs as well as preparing marketing and communication materials for the library.  She produces the library's quarterly newsletter, The Enchanted Times, maintains key elements of the website, and works closely with the library's volunteer group, the Friends of the Library.  Maggie actively works to promote the library's services and programs to the Barberton community in order to increase the public's awareness of the rich resources available through their hometown library.
