Sarah oversees the Local History Room of the Barberton Public Library, providing research assistance in the areas of Barberton, Summit County and Ohio history, as well as assistance with genealogy research. She is responsible for maintaining the Local History collection, selecting new materials and preserving the Library’s archives and artifact collection. Sarah regularly presents programs on local history and writes the “Historically Speaking” column for the Barberton Herald. As part of the Reference Services team, Sarah selects materials for the adult nonfiction collection in the areas of language, history and biography.
