Adulting 101: How to Find a Job

You've waited all these years to finally be an adult — no one to tell you to do your homework, clean your room, what time to be home or to eat your peas. Now what? Adulting 101 is your go-to program to learn the basics of being a responsible grown-up. 

Learn what makes a great resume and how to get organized.  Reference Services Manager, Susanne Nirschl Cogar, will provide with tips to conduct a winning job search.  She will also demonstrate how to maximize your skills online with Lynda and Linkedin, which are available at no cost with a current Barberton Library card.

What is tabletop game night?  There are no screens involved.  Join us to play your favorite games that take place on the top of a table.  If you like board games, card games, and role-playing games, we will have some available, or you can bring your own.  

The Art of Journaling

Journaling can be very rewarding, but how do you know which type of journal is the best for you? Participate in a free workshop to learn about several types of journals and then practice art journaling. This program is limited to 24 participants. Registration is required and will begin on January 14. All supplies will be provided by the library.
