Baseball Jersey Design Contest

May 1-31

Help the Barberton Public Library design a library jersey for staff! Should we be the Barberton Bookworms? Or maybe the Loud Librarians? Design prizes will be awarded in children, teen and adult categories. Best design overall will receive consideration for the creation of library swag!

All entries should be submitted to customer service by May 31, 2024, for consideration. Winners will be announced the following week.

Scavenger Hunt

May 5-18

Stop by the library to play our scavenger hunt and enter for a chance to win Akron RubberDucks tickets to the June 21st game featuring the Barberton Fried Chicken and Hot Rice (or any other game this season) ! Using your sheet, find all the baseball and Barberton images hidden throughout the library. Once you've found them all, turn your completed sheet in at the Reference desk. Images will be hidden in the lobby, main floor, and children's area, so make sure to look everwhere. Two chances to play, May 5-11 and May 12-18, so make to stop back! Winner will be drawn the following week. 

Family Trivia: Baseball & Barberton

Test your knowledge on Barberton and baseball at this Family Trivia Night and win some prizes, donated by the Akron RubberDucks! Play as a team or compete head-to-head in categories like science, music, and geography. All ages are welcome but questions will be geared toward ages 12 and up.
