Donating To the Local history Room

In keeping with the area of focus of the Local History Room of collecting, preserving, and displaying information relevant to the history of Barberton, the Local History Room welcomes donations of materials or artifacts directly pertaining to the history of Barberton.

Examples of valuable materials and artifacts include items pertaining to Barberton schools, industries, or other groups/associations, family histories, photographs, and other Barberton memorabilia.

The materials do not have to be organized, but it would be most helpful if they could be labeled with as much detail as possible (names, location, date, etc.).

The Local History Room also accepts monetary donations to be used to fund special projects related to preserving or displaying historical materials and artifacts.

For more information or to arrange for a donation, call the Local History Librarian at 330-745-1194.
