As manager of the Customer Services Department, Mary administers all aspects of  her department, including assisting customers at the front desk, supervising and training staff, recommending policies and procedures, and resolving problems related to circulation and customer service.  Mary also manages various outreach duties such as visiting homebound customers and assisted living facilities.  Additionally, she works to develop library programming for adults.

A lifetime resident of Barberton, Mary is involved with many community groups and special events.  She is a 2012 graduate of Kent State University where she earned her master’s degree in Library and Information Science.
