To learn more about using Microsoft Office programs go to www.ohioweblibrary.org then go LearnExpress.  There under the Computer Skills category you can set-up an account go through the different tutorials about Microsoft Office.
 
 
The Library offers free computer classes for those wishing to get started on technology skills or to build on their own basic understanding.  No registration is necessary and seating is on a first come, first served basis, with 9 computers available. We meet in the Spillette Meeting Room, located in the lower level of the Library.   Classes are offered on a twice-monthly basis on Tuesdays.  If you have any questions, or would like to suggest a class topic, please call the Library and ask for Dia Thomas, or email her at Dia.Thomas@barbertonlibrary.org.
 
The class sessions run from 2:00-3:30 pm in the afternoon and 5:30-7:00 pm in the evening; with exception of the two November classes.

Tuesday, August 10th                        
Basic Microsoft PowerPoint I
Learn about the toolbars, text boxes and other elements of this presentation software program.
Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse.
 
Tuesday, August 24th                                    
Basic Microsoft PowerPoint II
Learn the basics of using PowerPoint’s AutoContent wizard.
Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse.
 
Tuesday, September 14th                              
Computer Basics: Mouse Training
Discover how to use the mouse. The class is geared for individuals who have little or no mouse experience.
 
Tuesday, September 28th                              
Job Searching & the Internet
Find out about some of the Internet resources that are available when seeking employment.
Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse.
 
Tuesday, October 12th                                   
Basic Microsoft Word Part I
Learn to open, save and create a word document.
Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse.
 
Tuesday, October 26th                                  
Basic Microsoft Word Part II
Learn to cut, copy, paste, and insert clipart into a Word document.
Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse.

Basic Mouse Training Using the Internet
