6 PM in the Spillette Meeting Room

 

Join us for a talk by local author, Peter Schneider on his book, Right  Rose, Right Place.  

This event features roses from Mr. Scheider's garden, a question-and-answer session andchance to purchase the book and have it signed by the author.

6 pm Ruth Spillette Meeting Room

 Young Adult Fantasy Author, Cinda Williams Chima will be at the Barberton Library to discuss her books in her presentation, Magic on the Page: Writing and Publishing Fantasy Fiction.  Chima's first published novel was The Warrior Heir about a teenager who discovers a magical underground society in Ohio.  The celebrated author completed  The Heir trilogy in 2008 and launched The Seven Realms series in 2009.  Chima will sign and make books available for purchase.

Journey to Freedom: A Young Girl's Stor of World War II and Communism, of Revolution and Escape, and the Power of Faith to Overcome  by Charlotte Marky

Charlotte Marky recalls life in Hungary during World War II and the Hungarian Revolution in 1956.  She be at the Barberton Library on Monday, August 2nd at 6 p.m.  Come for what will surely be a fascinating evening of history and survival. Ms. Marky will have copies of her books available for purchase at the end of the program.
