Recycle at the Library

Bring your paper to the library for recycling! Our bright green and yellow dumpster is located behind the library. We welcome you to place your newspapers, magazines, junk mail and catalogs, and old school or office papers in the easy-to-reach container.

Together we have recycled 3.28 tons so far! This means that we have saved the usage of:

22,960 gallons of water
13,454 kilowatt hours of electricity
196.8 pounds of greenhouse gasses
1,279.2 gallons of oil
10.824 cubic yards of landfill space
55.76 trees

We’re off to a great start, so let’s keep our progress rolling forward! Please stop by any time and contribute your waste papers!
