Storytime is an interactive program for children which features stories, fingerplays and songs for youngsters ages 2 to 5 years. They are engaging programs which share reading and stories in a casual setting that encourages children to enjoy reading for fun, while they also interact with others their own age.
Preschool summer storytime and craft sessions will be on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. starting June 12 and ending on July 31, 2012. There is no registration for this program. If you have any questions, please contact the Children's Department.
According to the American Library Association, a study of 3- to 5-year-olds who had been read to at least three times per week found the children:
